By expanding sales to new markets, we adjusted our range of juices and purees to the demands and requirements of individual markets. The development of the market also dictated a change in the packaging of Frutek products, which we successfully renewed in 1999. The change in the design of the bottle and lid was gradually followed by the renewal of the label, and in 2005, a novelty that was hardly expected by customers was the changed packaging so that there are fewer units on the pad.. An important turning point was the year 2001, when we certified the HACCP system for the first time in the field of children's purees. Today, with HACCP and IFS FOOK certificates, among other things, we ensure traceability from raw materials to products and customers and ensure product safety that is higher than legally prescribed.
In 2010, Fructal added the BIO Frutek product line to the line of juices and purees. For the line of BIO juices and purees, Frutek received the BIO certificate, so the BIO Frutek line is taking into account the ecological standard and is additionally controlled from the initial raw material to the processing, production and storage of the final product.
In 2014, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Frutek brand, we refreshed the design of the entire range, expanded the range of Frutek products and entered new categories in the baby food market with new instant purees and tea.
Tradition and History
The Frutek brand entered the market in 1974 when Fructal started producing bottled juices for infants and toddlers. In 1982, new investments in technological equipment enabled the first production of children's puree and thus the expansion of the brand, as well.
The palette of flavors has expanded and changed over the years, and some basic flavors have been followed by Frutek since the very beginning. These are primarily the flavor of apples, peaches, apricots, and otherwise the first fruit flavors that mothers offer to their children. With a mission of excellent quality and the best selection of ingredients, right from the beginning, we focused on the development of fruit, fruit, and milk, fruit and cereal purees, and fruit and vegetable products.
